At the time, my 2.90 high school avg and almost 1090 SAT's were more then enough for any of the liberal arts programs. Today, I am not sure that would cut it. My high school was one in located amoung all great Westchester County NY systems that produce some of the top high school students in the country. This helps know doubt. I also had been in a program for giveted students in Art, and was a top golfer in the state.

ADMISSIONS:
Admission to NU is now very competitive. Applications to the university are up by 30% this year (50% for health professions)! In 2003, the school recieved over 22,000 applications for a freshman class of 2800 students. The hardest programs to get into are engineering, computer science, and health professions, and business. Competitive but less selective programs are Arts & Sciences and Criminal Justice. The average SAT is above 1200 and GPA is 3.5 with just over 35% in the top 10% of their high school class.
